Hi there.. It's been a long time since I made a card, since I joined any of my favorite sketch challenges. So I'm very happy that today I can share this card I made for the 2S4Y challenge. I didn't buy any valentine stuff so I just used my imagination and some colors at this is the result:

I love how the green color makes a nice combination with the bubblegum pink, so cute. Let me know what you guys think of my card, hopefully my skills didn't disappear. Ooh, and please don't mind the stitching on the felt heart, I just invented I new stitch right there, LOL. I'm just happy I could play along with this weeks challenge.

There is also something else I want to share with you today. I've been working on a little side project involving this:

 

I'm very excited about them, but I'm not sure if I'm totally ready to show them completely to you guys. What do you guys think ? The people I've showed so far ( friends and family ) said that they are cute and that I should sell them, but I don't trust them. Maybe you guys can help :)

Last year when I started making cards around this time, I didn't want anybody to see them neither, so it's very funny that this year I got a new project which I'm very shy about. 

well off I go. I promise that you will be hearing more of me in the next couple of days. I really love blogging. I just love the way I can just put my feeling, ideas, thoughts and inspirations up here with the hope that other people will get inspired in a way or another. If only there were more hours in a day ;)

On the last weekend before Christmas I..

have something different to show you. Looking at this weeks sketch over at 2S4Y, I just didn't want to make a card. I wanted to do something different, and this is the result:

 
 

Yes, I just can't get enough of that red ribbon. The card I made for last weeks challenge had it 2. You guys should see it in person. It's the most beautiful red ever. I Don't know what to call my creation, I guess it's a homemade decoration. I made it with a canvas board ( 18x24 ), Webster Pages patterned paper, American Crafts chipboard thickers, felt, embroidery thread, Tattered Angels Glimmer chips, Ribbon, glittered snowballs and of course lots of glitter..

 

I think I'm gonna do more with canvas boards, It was very fun doing this.

I'm overwhelmed with all the great ( Christmas ) tutorials I see everyday on ''blogland''... This one was no exception. Aren't these the most cutest tree's ever..??? I love the idea that you can make them in all the thread colors you like. Don't know if I'll have time to make some, but I bet you can. You can find the tutorial here at One Pearl Button.
